Risk of (burn) injury caused by caustic burns to eyes, skin and mucous membranes from battery electrolyte/mist, short circuit and arcing. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing battery electrolyte or absorption of lead through the skin or body orifices. Risk of death due to voltage U >= 30 V AC and U >= 60 V DC.

No fires, sparks, open flames, or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing, and glasses. Pour battery acid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Disconnect battery ground cable

Disengage the connector (4) from the pump module (2)

Cut the connector (4) from the wiring harness (1)

Insulate the cable ends and secure to the SCR module harness (5).

Make a new wiring harness (1) for the pump module

The electrical harness length (1) that must be prepared depends on the distance between the pump module (2) and the SCR module (A95).

Connect the new prepared wiring harness (1) of the pump control unit (2), and arrange it along the wiring harness of SCR control unit (5) until the SCR unit control (A95)

Remove the SCR control unit (A95)

Connect the new prepared wiring harness (1) to the connector (A95 X1) of SCR unit control (A95)

If the connector (A95 X1) is corroded, it must be replaced.

Install the SCR Unit control (A95)
