Charge air temperature and boost pressure combination sensor

No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only.
Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Remove/install

Open engine hood and raise to vertical position

Remove front section of front left fender

Remove left charge air pipe

Drain coolant until the expansion reservoir is emptied

Remove expansion reservoir with carrier

Remove air intake pipe (1)

Disconnect electrical connection from combination sensor for charge air temperature and boost pressure (B111) and place to one side

 Installation: Replace cable tie.

Remove screw/bolt (10) and leak fuel line (9) from charge air distributor (8)

Remove guide tube from holder (2)

Remove bracket (3) from cylinder head cover

Remove hose clamp from bracket (5)

Remove hose (4)

Place coolant pipe (6, 7) to one side

Remove screw/bolts () and remove charge air distributor (8) upwards

 Close off openings in the cylinder heads.

 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces.
Replace seals.

 Bolt, charge air manifold to cylinder head

Install in the reverse order

 Charge air pipe/charge air cooling
