| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove bolts (3) and take out charge air pipe (2). | Installation: Clean sealing surfaces on charge air manifold (2) and on charge air pipe (1). Check condition of seals (8), replace if necessary. | |
2 | Remove holder (5) from junction box | Lay junction box aside. | |
3 | Disconnect electrical connector from boost pressure sensor (4) | ||
4 | Remove the charge air cross pipe (6) | ||
5 | Remove holder under the charge air cross pipe (6) | ||
6 | Remove charge air pipe (7) to turbocharger | ||
7 | Remove injection lines | ||
8 | Remove bolts (10) | Installation: Tighten bolts (10) evenly. | |

9 | Detach charge air manifold (1) | Close off intake port on cylinder head by using a suitable aid otherwise engine damage can occur due to the foreign matter falling into the intake port. | |
Installation: Clean sealing surfaces on charge air manifold (1) and cylinder head. Replace gaskets (9). | |||
10 | Install in the reverse order |
