Align vibration damper (5) on injection lines (1) by turning vibration damper (5) until long side of bracket is aligned with injection pipe and observe distance (A) from bend. | |||

15 | Start engine and run it at varying speeds | Crank engine with the starter for not more than 90 seconds. The fuel system is ventilated automatically. If the engine stops or does not start, repeat starting procedure after a break of 2 minutes. | |
16 | Check area of injection line (1) for leakage, then shut off engine | In the event of leakage, replace injection line (1) affected. | |
To check injection lines (1) for cylinders 3 to 6, press engine cover (3) away from cylinder head cover and check injection lines (1) with mirror. | |||
17 | Tighten engine cover (3) | Only when injection lines (1) for cylinders 3 to 6 have been removed. | |
18 | Close engine hood |
