Danger!

Risk of explosion caused by ignition of flammable products, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling fuel vapors or swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to skin and eyes exposed to fuel.

No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.
Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Remove top part of charge air distribution pipe

Unplug connector (3) at fuel temperature sensor (1)

Use wrench (4) to remove fuel temperature sensor (1)

Installation: Replace sealing ring (2)

Install in the reverse order

Due to the poor access with a mirror and torch, note the position of the fuel temperature sensor (1) after screwing in, so that the plug (3) can be positioned.

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns when working in engine during starting procedure

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.

Inspect fuel system for leaks

Run engine, switch off and inspect for leaks.
