1 | Remove cylinder head cover | ||
2 | Remove injection line (10) | ||
3 | Remove pressure pipe connection (8) | ||
4 | Remove retaining clip (5) | ||
5 | Attach threaded insert (2) and extractor (3) to nozzle holder combination (1) | | |

6 | Pull out nozzle holder combination (1) | ||
7 | Remove threaded insert (2) and impact extractor (3) to nozzle holder combination (1) | ||
8 | Take off seal (6) | ||
| Clean | ||
9 | Clean contact surface of sealing ring (6) or nozzle holder combination (1) using a brass brush. | Only perform when reusing the old nozzle holder combination (1). | |
10 | Clean nozzle holder combination (1) | Only perform when reusing the old nozzle holder combination (1). | |

11 | Perform visual inspection of nozzle holder combination (1) | Only perform when reusing the old nozzle holder combination (1). | |
Do not disassemble nozzle holder assembly (1) If wear or damage present: | |||
Replace nozzle holder combination (1). | |||
| Install | ||
12 | Replace O-ring (11) at nozzle holder combination (1) | Coat O-ring (11) with grease. | |
13 | Fit on sealing ring (6) at nozzle holder combination (1) | Replace compression ring (6). The new seal ring (6) must have the same thickness as the previously removed seal ring (6). Observe installation position of seal ring (6). The small ring surface on the sealing ring (6) must point towards the nozzle holder combination (1). | |
14 | Install nozzle holder combinations (1) | Pay attention to installation position of nozzle holder combination (1). Turn nozzle holder combination (1) with the clamp (5) in the cylinder head until the interference-fit ball (arrow) in the clamp (5) is aligned with the locating element in the end cover (12) of the constant throttle. | |
15 | Tighten clamp (5) fully with spherical collar bolt (4) | | |
16 | Replace O-ring (7) on pressure pipe connection (8) | Coat O-ring (7) with grease. | |
17 | Install pressure pipe connection (8) and tighten thrust bolt (9) | The interference-fit ball (arrow) at pressure pipe connection (8) must be inserted into the slot (arrow) in cylinder head. | |
