Keep all ignition sources out of the hazard area. Only check injection nozzles in the nozzle testing device. Do not touch the injection nozzle stream.

Carefully remove all carbonization residues on injection nozzle (1)

Attach injection nozzle (1) with nozzle holder (2) to test equipment (3)

Fill test equipment (3) reservoir with test oil or diesel fuel

Only clean test oil or filtered diesel fuel should be used for testing.

Check leaktightness of injection nozzle (1)

Analyze recorded test result from operation step 5 to 7

All three test results must meet the respective requirements of the individual operation steps. The injection nozzle (1) must be repaired even if there is just a negative test result:

Disassemble, clean, assemble and set nozzle holder and injection nozzle
