Remove the right cylinder head cover

To remove the slide rails (1, 5)

Remove camshaft positioner for right exhaust camshaft

To remove the slide rail (1)

Remove sliding rail bolt pin (2)

To remove the slide rail (1)

 Impact extractor

Remove sliding rail bolt pin (4)

To remove the slide rail (3)

Pull out slide rail (1) or slide rail (3) upwards

Unclip slide rail (5) or slide rail (6) at the right or left cylinder head cover

Check slide rail (1, 3, 5, 6) for wear, galling and damage; replace slide rails (1, 3, 5, 6) if necessary

Install in the reverse order

Check engine oil level; correct if necessary


