 	Remove/install
1	Remove poly-V belt
			AP13.22-D-1381A
2	Position piston for cylinder 1 at top dead center	 The wedge (7) points upwards.	AR01.00-S-0120A
3	Install retaining lock (18) for crankshaft/starter ring gear	 Use M690 bolts otherwise thread in rear end cover will be damaged.	AR03.30-S-5000A
4	Unscrew central bolt (5) together with disk springs (6)	 Installation: Lubricate disk springs (6) and thread for center bolt (5); install disk springs (6) with the bulge to the bolt head.

		 Socket	*001589650900
5	Pull off belt pulley / vibration damper (1)	 Installation: The groove on belt pulley/vibration damper (1) must be flush with the wedge (7) in the crankshaft.
		 In the case of a jammed belt pulley/vibration damper (1)
		Detach belt pulley/vibration damper (1).	AR03.30-S-1600-02A
		 Two-legged puller	*000589883300
6	Install in the reverse order
	Checking
7	Check belt pulley / vibration damper (1)	 Check condition of the front crankshaft radial sealing ring 
		Replace front crankshaft radial seal if necessary.	AR03.20-S-3000A
		If axial runout or concentric running problems exist: 
		Check belt pulley/vibration damper (1) for flatness and smooth operation; replace belt pulley/vibration damper.	AR03.30-S-1600-01A
