Remove/install belt pulley/vibration damper

Remove, Install

Remove radiator with front end

Remove viscous fan coupling

AR20.40-D-5660B

Remove poly V-belt

AR13.22-D-1202B

Install retaining lock for crankshaft / starter ring gear

AR03.30-D-5000A

Unscrew hexagon bolts (9), take off belt pulley (10) of coolant pump



Unscrew central bolt (2) and take off together with conical washer (3)



 Install new central bolt (2).

Pull off belt pulley/vibration damper (1, 1b)

 If vibration damper is tight, unbolt belt pulley/vibration damper (1, 1b) at hub (6) and pull of hub (6) with special tool, see:

Pull off hub of belt pulley/ vibration damper.

 Installation:

The groove in the hub must be aligned with the parallel key (8).

Replace front crankshaft radial seal (11)
