Remove

Remove belt pulley/vibration damper (8)

AR03.30-P-1600W

Press out radial shaft sealing ring (5) from the mounting hole using a screwdriver


Use a clean rag as a base when pushing out.
Leaks can occur otherwise.



Check

Check contact surface of radial shaft sealing ring (5) at hub of belt pulley/vibration damper (8) for damage

If damage is present



Replace belt pulley/vibration damper (8)

Install

Install radial shaft sealing ring (5)

 Install a new radial shaft sealing ring (5).

Install belt pulley/vibration damper (8)

 Only install engine cover after the engine test run.

Check engine oil level; correct if necessary



Carry out an engine test run and check engine for leaktightness
