1 | Start engine | ||
2 | Switch on air conditioning and set to maximum refrigeration capacity | ||
3 | Open air conditioning maintenance flap (2) | ||
4 | After approx. 5 minutes, check the refrigerant level in the inspection glass (1) | The air conditioning system has been properly filled if bubble-free refrigerant is flowing through the inspection glass. If too little refrigerant is displayed: | |
Check tightness of system and top up refrigerant as per service product specifications -subject to separate repair order. | |||
The refrigerant may only be poured in by trained specialists in workshops equipped for this | |||

5 | Check the moisture content of the refrigerant in the inspection glass (1) | Pin in the center of the inspection glass - yellow = The refrigerant is in order. Pin in the center of the inspection glass - green = The moisture content of the refrigerant is too high: Replace refrigerant - against a separate order. | |
6 | Switch air conditioning off and turn | ||
7 | Close the maintenance flap (2) |
