Inspect

Check ball joints as well as lever and shaft bearings to make sure that they can move freely and are not worn

Do not lubricate plastic joints

Press ball sockets of throttle linkage off the ball pins, pack with grease and press on again

With secured ball sockets: fit retainer again.

Oil bearing points of all throttle control shafts, throttle control levers and open joints of throttle control linkage as well as cables

Accelerator pedal, relay lever, bell crank, throttle control shaft, throttle valve shaft as well as ball sockets and ball heads must operate easily and free of play

Clean lubricating nipple.

Grease with grease gun until new grease emerges.

Remove surplus grease.

The number of lubricating nipple depends on the vehicle version.

Clean lubricating nipple after greasing.
