Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Set heater control to warm and fan to stage 3

Slowly screw down cap (1) of expansion reservoir (2)

To enable excess pressure in cooling system to be reduced.

Open coolant drain plug (3) and collect coolant in a suitable container

The old coolant must be drained completely.

When disposing of old coolant, pay attention to legal provisions and local wastewater regulations!

Screw coolant drain plug (3) tightly into coolant cooler

Pour coolant into expansion reservoir (2) up to edge of filler opening

Use only the specified composition of coolant.

Antifreeze tester

Start engine and bleed cooling and heating system

Run engine for about 1 minute at varying rotational speeds. Top up missing coolant. The cooling system is correctly filled, when the coolant is level with the edge of the filler opening on the expansion reservoir (2).

Turn off engine
