Check position of wear indicator (4)

If there is less than 5 mm play on the wear indicator (4) up to the respective stop (arrows), the poly-V-belt is considered worn out.

To do this, crank the engine in stages using a cranking device and check the entire circumference of the poly-V-belt for wear and damage.
