| Remove/install air cleaner housing | ||
2 | Open the locking clamps (arrows) at the air cleaner housing (2) and take off air cleaner housing cover (20) | ||
3 | Take out air cleaner element (1) | Installation: Mark the installation date of the new air cleaner element on the face end or on the adhesive sticker with a waterproof pen. Ensure it is correctly seated on the sealing surfaces. | |
4 | Clean the interior and sealing surfaces of the air cleaner housing (2) and the gaskets | ||
5 | Clean the dust extraction valve (10) | Press together the dust extraction valve by hand and remove dust residues in the inside with your finger. | |
6 | Install in the reverse order | Ensure the locking clamps at the air cleaner housing are adequately tensioned. | |
7 | Operate maintenance indicator release (4) | Only if the red zone in the inspection window at the maintenance indicator is locked in place. | |
8 | Confirm replacement of the air cleaner element in the maintenance booklet |
