 	Remove/install
1	Detach intake duct (1) from air filter	Ensure that no dust or dirt particles get into the inlet line (clean air side)!
2	Unplug connector of hot film mass air flow sensor (4)	With code (ZU7) National version for Canada, with code (ZU8) National version for USA, with code (ZU9) National version for Mexico
		 Installation: Ensure that connector is seated properly!
3	Remove top section of air filter housing (2)	 Installation: Insert the lugs (A) into the recesses of the bottom section of the air filter housing (B). Make sure that the locking clips (arrows) are adequately tensioned (arrows)!
4	Take out cartridge (3), insert new cartridge	 Vacuum out lower section of air filter housing where necessary or wipe out with a damp rag.  Installation: Pay attention to faultless seating on the sealing surfaces.
5	Install in the reverse order
6	Reset maintenance indicator	 Only if air filter with service indicator is fitted:

7	Confirm renewal of air filter element in service record book
