1.1	Temperature sensor   Function				Ignition: OFF Heater unit: OFF Connect plug connection E on control unit (behind timer). Erase fault memory with HHT. Heater unit: ON Read out fault code. Heater unit: OFF		If fault code  no longer occurs:  Inspect plug connections and surroundings for moisture. If fault code  re-occurs:  Inspect plug connections and surroundings for moisture.  If no fault can be determined, replace control unit (Z14) on trial.
1.2	Temperature sensor   Supply cable	E2 	Z14 	 E1	Ignition: OFF Heater unit: OFF Disconnect plug connection on heater unit.  Do not remove heater unit (disconnect plug connection from maintenance flap). Plug carrier on heater unit  AD83.70-W-2000-18A  Allow heater unit to cool down if necessary, collect draining coolant. Carry out measurement at plug sleeve housing E.		Value > 30 kΩ:  Replace cable harness to heater unit complete with molded connection plug on heater unit. Value < 5 Ω:  Cable ( ) in cable harness from air recirculation box to control unit (Z14).  If no fault can be determined:  1.4
