With higher coolant temperature resistance increases accordingly (e.g. at 80 °C approx.
1500 Ω).

Value in order:

Repair plug connection G (pin 14/10) if corroded.

Replace cable harness from air recirculation box to heater unit (complete with molded connection plate) if necessary.

Value > 3 kΩ:

Inspect plug X9 (corrosion).

Replace temperature sensor complete with cable and plug X9 if necessary.

Allow heater unit to cool down if necessary, collect draining coolant.
