The immobilizer is activated by the radio remote control (FFB) control module via the data cable to the DSV engine control module. After the immobilizer has been activated, the DSV control module stops the fuel supply to the fuel injection pump.
The immobilizer is activated (vehicle cannot be started) by locking the vehicle with the key, closing the transmitter key fob and after deactivation by opening the key fob if no door has been opened or the ignition has not been switched on for 10 minutes (automatic activation).
The immobilizer can only be deactivated by unlocking the vehicle using the transmitter key (open the key fob). Unlocking the vehicle using the key has no effect on the immobilizer.
