Remove

1 Remove, from the pinion, the lock-ring of the roller bearing's inner race.

2 Pull the roller bearing's inner race.

Installing

 The inner race of the roller bearings are to be heated up to 80 °C to enable the assembly on the pinion.

3 Assemble the inner race of the roller bearing on the pinion tip with an appropriate drift.

4 Install the snap-ring.
