Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off on its own when jacked up. Risk of injury caused by rotating parts when working on running engine or drive train.

Ensure that jack stands are secure. An authorized person must occupy the driver seat. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Attach tensioning strap (1) at front on one side

 Feed tensioning strap (1) through the openings (arrows) on the frame (3) to bind and lash down the respective vehicle lift support arm (2).

Check that tensioning strap (1) is firmly seated

Release

Release and remove tensioning strap (1)


The tensioning strap (1) may only be removed after the repair work has been completed in full.
Otherwise the vehicle may fall.
