Paintwork does not have a smooth surface. Structure similar to orange peel.
Wrong spraying technique.
Viscosity too high.
Spraying pressure too high/too low.
Spray gun interval too great.
Spray nozzle too large.
Air drying time not maintained.
Processing temperature too high.
Nominal layer thickness not maintained.
A slight orange peel effect is permissible, heavy orange peel effect is not permissible (in marginal cases permissible in lower areas of zone C). If orange peel is outside of tolerance:
Sand with P 1500 followed by P 2000 grain sand paper and polish paint surface mechanically with Mercedes-Benz Paint Cleaner.
