Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.

When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).

Remove/install

Open maintenance flap

Remove wiper arms (2)

Detach cover (5) under windshield at left and right

Remove cover (3) under windshield

Remove edge guard (4) from cover (3)

Remove air/water duct (6)

Disconnect electrical connector (10)

Remove screw/bolts (7)

Unscrew nut (9) and remove windshield wiper system (8)
