3 | Screw in screw (16) at transmission again. | To prevent soiling or damage of transmission. When replacing the screw, pay attention to the correct screw length so it does not project into the transmission. | |
4 | Pull off bellows (8) | Front intermediate bearing (10) and at transmission. | |
5 | Mark position of power take-off shaft profile relative to sliding piece | At front intermediate bearing (10) and at transmission. With light center punch marks. | |
6 | Detach stud bolts (5) | On both intermediate bearings. | |
7 | Detach intermediate bearing support (3, 10) by turning the eccentric ring (11) | Installation: The bearings on the shaft may only be secured once the brackets are firmly connected to the vehicle and the bearing housing is firmly connected to the bracket. The eccentric ring (11) is turned in the rotation direction of the propeller shaft to secure the bearing. | |
8 | Unscrew bolts (6) and nuts (7) from bracket (4) | Replace self-locking nuts. | |
9 | Detach propeller shaft (19) with rear intermediate bearing (3) from intermediate bearing (10) at front | Universal joints must not be installed twisted during assembly. Pay attention to marking. | |
Installation: Coat power take-off shaft profile with long-life grease. | |||
10 | Unscrew bolts (13) and nuts (14) from bracket (12) | Replace self-locking nuts. | |
11 | Detach propeller shaft (18) with front intermediate bearing (10) from transmission | Universal joints must not be installed twisted during assembly. Pay attention to marking. | |
Installation: Coat power take-off shaft profile with long-life grease. | |||
12 | Remove intermediate bearings (3, 10) from propeller shafts (18, 19) | ||

13 | Check intermediate bearing (3, 10) for wear | Replace bearing if extremely worn. | |
14 | Disassemble/assemble bearing bracket | ||
