Loose the nuts (1)

Lift the vehicle until the wheels remain free of the ground and support it in appropriate trestles that offer security


When the vehicle is loaded, do not suspend the vehicle through the center of the rear or front axle.
It can cause serious damage to the axes.

 Front axle:
Lift the vehicle through the center of the spring beam. If necessary, use a proper wood wheel chock.

 Vehicles with one rear axle:
Lift the vehicle through the center of the spring beam in the vertical axle line.

 Vehicles with two rear shafts:
Lift the vehicle by the lifting points located under the axles.

Remove the nuts (1) and remove the wheel rim (3)



Check

Check the tire and wheel rim condition (3)

 Clean the contact surfaces of the hub and wheels to allow proper seating and centering of the wheels.

If the tire or wheel rim (3) shows deformation and ovality:



Replace the tire and/or the wheel rim (3).

Check the wheel fastening nuts (1) and the respective bolts

If the wheel fastening nuts (1) and/or the respective bolts shows damage:



Replace the damaged component.



Install

Install the wheel rim (3) with the nuts (1) with the prescribed torque

 Install the external wheel air chamber valve with 180° offset related to the internal wheel valve.

 tighten the wheel nuts cross like and in several stages.

 Re-tighten the wheel fastening nuts after traveling the first 50 to 100 km with the prescribed torque.
