Removing, installing

Remove lower wishbone (1)

Assemble support (01), support (09) and stop (08) on base plate (4) and clamp in a vise

 Combination of the removal and installation tools.



Place lower wishbone (1) in the supports (01, 09) on the base plate (4) and press rear bearing (2) out of lower wishbone (1)


 Use screw (04) and thrust piece (02) from the removal and installation tool (414 589 00 43 00) and the hydraulic unit (10) from the extraction tool (202 589 04 43 00).

Since the stroke of the hydraulic unit (10) is insufficient to press out the rear bearing (2) completely, readjust the screw (04) several times.

Press rear bearing (2) into lower wishbone (1) using a press (3)

 Use support (03). Observe recess (arrow) on support (03).

 Use lubricant paste for rubber.
