1 | Remove engine oil cooler (4) | ||
| Disassemble | ||
2 | Remove engine oil cooler (4) from oil cooler housing (2) | To do this, remove bolts (1) and remove engine oil cooler (4). Remove seal (3) | |
3 | Remove screw plug (5) on bypass valve (8) | ||
4 | Remove sealing ring (6), spring (7) and bypass valve (8) one after the other | ||
| Checking | ||
5 | Clean parts and inspect for wear | Replace components if necessary. | |
| Assembly | ||
6 | Insert seal (3) into oil cooler housing (2) | Use new seal (3) The graphite-coated side of the seal (3) must point towards the oil cooler housing (2). | |
7 | Insert engine oil cooler (4) into oil cooler housing (2) and tighten bolts (1) evenly | | |

8 | Introduce bypass valve (8) and spring (7) into bore | ||
9 | Install screw plug (5) with sealing ring (6) | Use new sealing ring (6). | |
