Remove/install

Detach bleed line (2) from oil separator (1).

Installation: Replace seal.

Check bleed line (2) for deposits.

If deposits are present:

Clean or replace bleed line (2).

Remove oil separator (1) from timing case.

Collect escaping engine oil in a suitable container.

Installation: Replace seals (3, 4) on oil separator (1).

Bolt, oil separator to timing case

Install in the reverse order

Perform engine test run.

See information from body manufacturer.

Check area around oil separator (1) in terms of leak tightness.

Visual inspection.
