Remove

Remove screws/bolts (2) on mounting plate (1) between frame and front bearing bracket (3) of 1st rear axle

 Current status (A):
The mounting plate (2) is fixed in place using three bolts.
With regard to return shipment or scrapping of removed parts, please observe the information in your warranty systems.

Cut off mounting plate (1) from body


Protect area surrounding mounting plate (1) from sparking with suitable covers.
Otherwise there is a risk of damage.

Remove mounting plate (1)

 With regard to return shipment or scrapping of removed parts, please observe the information in your warranty systems.



Install

Prepare connecting points on body and mounting plate (1) for welding

Install new mounting plate (1) between frame and front bearing bracket (3) of 1st rear axle

6

Install new bolts and new nuts on new mounting plate (1)

 Specified status (B):
The new mounting plate (1) is fixed in place with four bolts (2).
Insert the bolts from the inside out.

Weld body at new mounting plate (1)

Paint replaced and additionally installed bolts and nuts, weld seams and ground areas on the body and the new mounting plate (1) in the frame/body color
