In order to guarantee a uniform quality standard, as of January 2008 sheet-metal replacement parts with seam seal have been delivered in stages via the GLC. This affects engine hoods, doors, hinged rear doors and load compartment sliding doors.
For replacement parts, operations with operation numbers
"97-51## Seal folds, seams and flanges at renewed body panels" as well as the cartridge for seam seal and sealant are no longer to be charged.
