Excessive resistance
are increasingly being replaced and invoiced through warranty and goodwill channels. The problems may be caused by a foreign object in the buckle head (see pictures). For this reason always perform a visual inspection for any foreign objects.
When a vehicle with a broken window arrives at the workshop, the belt buckles must be checked for proper operation regardless of whether or not there is a problem.

If there is damage due to external force (e.g. break-in or vandalism) or if foreign objects are present (e.g. foil, wood, fabric etc.), the costs must not be invoiced through warranty and goodwill channels.
