We would like to inform you that the refrigerant circuit must be flushed out after repairs have been made to the refrigerant compressor (A9).
This flushing process means that potential foreign objects such as, e.g. metal shavings in the refrigerant circuit are flushed out in systems with mechanical refrigerant compressor (A9).
For electric refrigerant compressors (A9/5, A9/6), the system should be flushed out to remove potential mechanical and chemical contaminants in the refrigerant circuit as they may damage the electric refrigerant compressor.
This measure is preventive in order to avoid further damage in the refrigerant circuit.
Only the leak testing equipment and agents described in the WIS are permissible for leakage searches.
Otherwise, the refrigerant circuit may be damaged.
Flushing the refrigerant circuit must be performed as per WIS document AR83.30-P-1785XXX.
