A TIPS case must always be created when working on an R744 refrigerant circuit in the above-mentioned vehicles.
The TIPS case must contain the following information:
Reason for workshop visit (e.g. low cooling output, failure of A/C system etc.)
Leak detected (yes/no)
Current quick test
Workshop and customer codings
Current actual values
Printout of refrigerant and compressor oil quantity
TIPS can also be used to request local support on all service or repair operations conducted on the A/C system.
The request should include the following information:
Service equipment R744 on site (yes/no)
Reason behind workshop visit (e.g. failure of A/C system, accident etc.)
Please coordinate any further agreements with the technical market support responsible.
The procedure described here is valid until 01.10.2017.
