Retrofitting of code J3S (Truck Data Center 6 (DTCO))

Code J9N (Pre-installation for Truck Data Center 6 (DTCO)) must be installed for retrofitting, otherwise it is not possible to carry out a retrofit. XSF ticket queries for retrofitting of code J3S (Truck Data Center 6 (DTCO)) in vehicles without code J9N (Pre-installation for Truck Data Center 6 (DTCO)) will be rejected.
Preconditions
XENTRY must be online.
The latest version of XENTRY must be installed.
The order process in the GLC must have been completed (this is the case once the data storage medium is received).
The vehicle must have code J9N (Pre-installation for Truck Data Center 6 (DTCO)).
Procedure
Order the desired part number by entering the vehicle identification number (FIN) and the "J3S code" in the additional field in GLC.
The GLC adds code J3S (Truck Data Center 6 (DTCO)) to the equipment list of the vehicle in VeDoc and delivers a data storage medium with the parameter set.
Carry out parameterization of affected control units for retrofitting of code J3S (Truck Data Center 6 (DTCO)) with XENTRY (after receiving data storage medium).
