Remote Online retrofit
A chargeable retrofit of the code J6Y (Remote Online) is available.
Preconditions
XENTRY must be online.
The latest version of XENTRY must be installed.
The order process in the GLC must have been completed (this is the case once the data storage medium is received).
The vehicle must be available through the code J3S (Truck Data Center 6 (DTCO)) or J3T (Truck Data Center 6 (FB Card)).
Procedure
Order required part numbers from the GLC by quoting the vehicle identification number (VIN).
The GLC adds the code J6Y for the equipment list of the vehicle in VeDoc and delivers an empty data storage medium. The data medium is necessary for process-related reasons and can be disposed of immediately after receiving it.
Use XENTRY to retrofit the code J6Y (Remote Online) (after the data storage medium has been received).
Conduct retrofit
On vehicle up to VIN WDB 963 403 10 172230, replace the additionally installed antenna with the antenna A 005 820 30 75.
Connect XENTRY and select the Truck Data Center control unit (A150).
Select the "Adaptations" tab.
Select menu items "Parameterization" "Retrofits and modifications" "Code J6Y (Remote Online)".
Start the retrofit procedure in the "Retrofits and modifications" window.
