Retrofitting of code E4B (Interface, fleet management system FMS) is chargeable as of 01.08.2016.
After-Sales pricing is orientated on the standard pricing for the SA code.
A CD-ROM (data storage medium) is required for a chargeable retrofit. The part number is available in the corresponding installation instructions.
Procedure:
Order the data storage medium with part number and quoting the vehicle identification number from the Global Logistics Center (GLC).
The GLC adds the code E4B for the equipment list of the vehicle in VeDoc and delivers an empty data storage medium. The data medium is necessary for process-related reasons and can be disposed of immediately after receiving it.
Carry out the parameterization of the fleet management system (FMS) interface using the diagnostic unit (after the code E4B has been entered in VeDoc).
Requirements:
The diagnostic unit must be online for parameterization.
The user must have a valid XD-Flash user ID.
