We would like to inform you that the iPhone opens the credit cards stored in the wallet as soon as an NFC field is detected. The antenna of the NFC interface is located close to the mobile phone cradle. The stored credit cards are also displayed by other NFC interfaces, e.g smartphones and access control systems.
The NFC can be deactivated in the vehicle menu of the head unit under System Preferences.
If the vehicle is equipped with code 896 (Vehicle access and drive authorization via mobile phone), the NFC field is activated on the initial engine start. If the telephone is in the mobile phone cradle at this point in time, the credit cards are displayed on the mobile phone despite the NFC function being deactivated. This can be avoided by putting the iPhone in the mobile phone cradle only once the engine has started.
