We would like to inform you that when performing inductive charging of iPhone 8/x in the vehicle, the mobile phone must be positioned centrally in the mobile phone cradle.

The charging coil of the iPhone 8/X is surrounded by a special metal jacket. If the iPhone is not optimally positioned in the mobile phone cradle or if it has moved during the journey, too much charging capacity is directed to the metal casing and foreign object detection is activated. The display then shows the message "Wireless charging not possible. Please remove the foreign objects from the inductive charging surface."
Once the iPhone 8/X is placed again into the optimum position charging is started again. The message in the display must be confirmed to remove it.
