At the onset of rain or slight moistening of the windshield surface an additional use of the windshield washer system is required for precleaning and to build up a continuous water film on the windshield surface.

a) Use of unsuitable, non-approved washer fluid additives or those which are not adapted to the time of year.

b) Contamination of any type during the filling operation.
System contamination with other substances
Lime deposits can occur in all components of the washer fluid system due to the mixture of different washing fluid additives which are not matched to each other

Avoidance of contamination due to exclusive use of water and washer fluid additives.
Filling only with clean vessels intended for this.

Contamination caused by the customer cannot be comprehended. If a cleaned windshield surface be contaminated by a lubricating film after operating the windshield washer system, the washer fluid system must be cleaned using suitable cleaning agents.

c) Reduced water supply to the windshield washer fluid nozzles due to calcification or contamination of the system.

Cleaning or replacement of components affected.

Always using and installing Mercedes-Benz genuine replacement parts, windshields, wiper blade, wiper arms, care/cleaning agents ensure optimum wiping quality.
No cost acceptance through warranty or goodwill is possible for the above negative influencing quantities. The person causing the damage bears the costs.
