To achieve an optimum wipe field, the wiper blades on the driver and passenger-side have different lengths. The wiper blade on the driver-side is 650 mm long, the one on the passenger-side is 600 mm long.
If the wiper blades are interchanged when installed, the passenger-side wiper blade makes contact with the A-pillar and noise may be generated between the wiper blade and A-pillar.
As a consequence the A-pillar and wiper blade may be damaged. Therefore, the wiper blade lengths should be compared before starting the installation procedure and the longer one should be installed on the driver-side.
