2 Separation of the outer and inner surfaces from the core
Separation of the outer and inner surfaces from the core occurring between the glass layers at the outer area/perimeter of the windshield.
Due to tolerances in the adhesive process during manufacturing, separations (delaminations) at the location of RLS optical body may occur.
If replacement of the windshield is absolutely necessary to remedy improper function (e.g. implausible actuations by the RLS) (illustration 1), be sure to only use the following damage codes:
In case of blister formation in the mounting area of the RLS, damage code:
