MODEL 212 with CODE (450) Taxi version

MODEL 212 with CODE (965) Electrical preinstallation, rental vehicles

Vehicles with taxi version (code 450) or electrical preinstallation for rental vehicles (code 965) have a modified interior lights control.

This is realized by the installation of a networked overhead control panel. This always has a switch however for the tilting/sliding roof, even where one is not installed.

For this reason we would like to ask you not to replace the overhead control panel.

Taxi or rented vehicle-specific interior lights control functions:

In contrast to the series version, when opening the front doors both the front overhead control panel's interior illumination and the rear interior illumination are switched on.

If the front doors are closed and one of the rear ones is opened, only the rear interior illumination switches on.

If the taximeter is switched to the cash register mode, then the interior lights and reading lamps are switched on.
