Please remember that on vehicles equipped with KEYLESS-GO or the KEYLESS-GO start function, the ignition is automatically switched off through the electronic ignition lock (EZS).
The ignition shutoff is time-controlled. After 15 minutes, circuit 15 (ignition ON) switches to circuit 15R. After another 30 minutes, circuit 15R is switched off.
The circuit is not reset:
With external tester connected (e.g. XENTRY Diagnosis)
Vehicles with automatic transmission: in transmission position "N"
Vehicles with manual transmission: with parking brake NOT engaged
When working on a vehicle in which ignition ON is required, such as, e.g. for map updates, it must be ensured that the ignition is not switched off.
