General information on noises from Vario roof or soft top

 While driving, cracking or ripping noises can occur due to dry or dirty seals on the Vario roof or soft top.

Therefore before any repair the corresponding seals should be cleaned and provided with a special lubricant. Afterwards carry out a test drive on rough roads.

 Replacement of seals only brings about a temporary improvement and causes unnecessary costs.

The use of felts on end stops, buffers or guides is not expedient for eliminating noises.
