Cars
For all vehicles up to the market launch of the new S-Class (model 222) Star Diagnosis basic2 (3), compact3 w (4), and compact4 (5) can be used with all the multiplexers (Part D3 (1), SDconnect (2), SDconnect DoIP as well as XENTRY Kit (6, 7).
For the new S-Class (model 222) only the Star Diagnosis compact4 (4) with SDconnect DoIP may be used (recognizable by the Star Diagnosis system number 170000 ff., delivery as of November 2010) or XENTRY Kit (6, 7).
Recognition of SDconnect DoIP devices (for diagnosis of the new S-Class, model 222):
"SDconnect DoIP" is denoted on the model plate of the device that can be used for diagnosis. SDconnect DoIP includes an Ethernet switch, which switches the TCP/IP messages in the event of DoIP diagnosis to the vehicle side.
DoIPcompatible European on-board-diagnosis (EOBD) cables have a yellow marking at both ends!

Transporter
For all vehicles except the Citan (model 415) Star Diagnosis basic2 (3), compact3 w (4), and compact4 (5) can be used with all the multiplexers (Part D3 (1), SDconnect (2), SDconnect DoIP and the XENTRY Kit (6, 7).
For the Citan (model 415) as of release 03/2013, the Star Diagnosis compact3 w (4) or compact4 (5) devices can be used with either SDconnect (2) or SDconnect DoIP as well as XENTRY Kit (6, 7).
Flashing can only be performed with Star Diagnosis compact3 w (4) or compact4 (5) using either Star Diagnosis SDconnect multiplexer (2) or Star Diagnosis SDconnect multiplexer DoIP.
Trucks
For all vehicles (except Atego Hybrid) the Star Diagnosis basic2 (3), compact3 w (4), compact4 (5) devices can be used with all the multiplexers (Part D3 (1), SDconnect (2), Star Diagnosis SDconnect multiplexer DoIP and XENTRY Kit (6, 7).
For the Atego Hybrid, Star Diagnosis compact3w (4) or compact4 (5) can be used either with Star Diagnosis SDconnect multiplexer (2) or the Star Diagnosis SDconnect multiplexer DoIP as well as XENTRY Kit (6, 7).
Flashing of the EATON components is currently not possible, flashing of HCMECU is currently only possible using an EATONspecific tool!
