After update 091011/2014, the WLAN connection between XENTRY Connect and XENTRY Tab is not established.
The following symptoms indicate a problem with the WLAN connection:
Symptom 1:
The symbol for the WLAN connection (3) is not displayed even after waiting for approx. 2 min after the device has booted up completely (XENTRY Connect is ready) (4).
Symptom 2:
XENTRY Connect is not displayed in XENTRY Control.
Symptom 3:
Press the information button until the option "Display Network Information" is displayed and call up the network map by confirming with the green check mark (6).
Continue pressing the information button until the WLAN parameters are displayed.
If the WLAN parameters are not saved, the fault has occurred.
To rectify the problem, modify the network profiles in the XENTRY Connect as follows:
Press the gearwheels button (7) on the XENTRY Connect until the message "Change to 24 h mode?" appears.
Confirm the message with the green check mark (6).
When the message "24 h with reception status" (2) appears in the display, the modification has been made.
Switch back to Workshop mode. To do this, press the gearwheels button (7) until the message "Terminate 24 h mode?" appears. Confirm the message with the green check mark (6).
If the modification was successful, the display now shows the "House symbol with reception status" (1). You are back in Workshop mode. The problem has now been resolved and XENTRY Connect can be used normally.
If this is not the case, or if the reception status is indicated only by a "bar" (5), repeat the process. If the repeat attempt fails, contact the Diagnosis User Help Desk.
