With immediate effect, when replacing the fuel pump (M3) an input quick test log must be created for the fuel system control unit (N118) and the following data must be read out:
Fuel temperature
Fuel pressure
Voltage
Fuel pump power consumption
Engine speed
The log and the data read out are to be printed out and filed with the repair order.
If the fuel pump that is the object of the complaint is requested for warranty inspection, then next to the fuel pump and the usual documentation (ARS), the following documents must also be included with the return delivery:
