We would like to notify you that, with immediate effect, the dust caps (1) must be attached on all electric lines removed as part of the warranty and remanufactured parts process, before the electric lines are returned.
The dust caps (1) must be taken from the new electric steering and attached to the steering to be returned.
Failure to do so will result in fouling of the connector couplings and ESD damage (electrostatic discharge).
Electric steering units without dust caps (1) cannot be analyzed.
This can lead to limited recognition of the warranty claim.
