We would like to inform you that the following cleaning instructions for soiling and stains (see picture A) or shiny areas (see picture B) must be observed when cleaning and caring for leather steering wheels:
Do not use a microfiber cloth to clean/care for steering wheels made of genuine leather or DINAMICA.
Do not use solvent cleaning or care products such as tar remover or wheel cleaner, nor polishes or wax.
Do not clean the steering wheel with disinfectant.
Clean the material using only a leather cleaner recommended and approved by Mercedes-Benz and then wipe with a dry cloth.
Do not get the leather of the steering wheel wet through.
Otherwise it may become brittle or cracked.
A 1-% solution of soapy water can be used to clean the steering wheel.
